The definition of mindfulness, is “the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.” In active meditation you can move you body as long you are conscious and aware of yourself. Hiking, walking and yoga are my top favorite. I must check with my body to see how feel today. My mind as every human will go places or try to stay busy from, mine to do list for work to maybe I should call my friend right now. We are try to stay busy because the give of sense of accomplishment. The active meditation, is to set time for you to disconnect and give you brain few minute to recharge and re balance. Give yourself the time to let your emotion pass by WITHOUT JUDGE THEM.
